I am always a bit slow when it comes to mornings!
I am definitely an after midday-evening type of girl. I do understand the importance of breakfast as it sets you up for the rest of the day. Although the thought of eating that early in the morning is a concept I find quite unimaginable. I am either not hungry or I have no idea what to go for. It always confuses me.
Should I go for continental breakfast or cooked? If I eat this now I cant eat that for lunch?!
Having a breakfast smoothie has been my solution for the last 2 years of my life. Its easy, I blitz it the night before. I is full of anti antioxidants and it leaves me with so many more options for lunch.
Here is the recipe for my usual green smoothie. You will need a blender or a juicer to blitz this!
250 ml of almond milk.
1 handful of any berries(blackberries, blueberries or raspberries) or use a bit of all.
1 tablespoon of goji berries
1 teaspoon of chia seeds
1 teaspoon of spiralina powder
1 sprinkle of cinnamon
I like to add 1 teaspoon of protein powder but this is optional.
BLEND and Enjoy x
