How To Look Expensive

How To Look Expensive

I don’t really mean look expensive as if you are for sale. I mean more like how to look like you are put together and look as though you have spent more on your outfit.

I am a big believer in accessories. That is jewellery, handbags, scarves, hats and sunnies.

Today I am going to focus on accessories mainly because I have recently bought 2 pieces which are to die for!

I think clothing is an important part of looking good it has to be a base which you work from. However I will not always spend a substantial amount on clothing. I think it is wise to choose carefully on the pieces you do splash out on, but as I am focusing on accessories I will go back to this now.

It is Sale time everywhere! This is my favourite time as it is the only times where I will stock up on the designer pieces I love. I do ensure that it is something that I will get a lot of wear out of and it is something that will inspire me and make me feel good. A little touch of luxury. I went to Liberty London to pick as this is my first point of call when I start sale shopping.

I still abide by the rules that just because it is on sale it doesn’t mean you should buy it.

I always ask these 3 questions.

  1. Do I love it
  2. Will it be easy for me to wear
  3.  Would I pay for it if it was almost full price

If I answered yes to all of the above then it was meant to be.

The pieces I would like to talk about is the Darcey gold bangle by Chloe. It is a solid gold plated bangle with a brass base with 2 glass pearl beads at each end. It is super gorgeous with the dainty little gold chain hanging off the centre. It gives it something extra and mixes masculinity and femininity at the same time.

My 2nd purchase is the Delfine gold ring by Chloe again(cant get enough of this designer). I thought it tied in really well with my bangle. It is a thick sold band with a 6 rows of linking across the front. It is the perfect statement piece. It has a 70’s like style which is very on trend and looks great no matter if you love bohemian, classic, bold or understated cool.

These 2 pieces look really amazing with other simpler accessorises and it ties any ensemble together.
