My Love Affair with London
I love London I don’t think could ever grow tired of it(no matter how many times I say I do). This weekend my best friend’s mummy was here from New Zealand, My home! So we have decided to take her to Sushi Samba inside the Heron Tower where the views of London go for miles!
Being a little bit scared of heights I did have to close my eye and hold onto the rail of the elevator going up but it is well worth the fright. Upstairs you have the longest glass windows you have ever seen and it overlooks the most beautiful views of London.
This is a great place if you want to see the sights but also have a relaxed atmosphere. The artwork on the walls are very quirky and the floor tiles are a pattern of a smashed mosaic.
There is a private dining area downstairs which has it own outdoor balcony. Perfect for those long summer days or crisp evenings(and perfect if your on a date). There is a slight dress code so I did have to wear a bit of a heel as trainers or flip flops are not welcome here.
Be prepared if your thinking of keeping is casual!
With my hunger looming all I could concentrate on was the food we were about to sit down to. The restaurant is a fusion of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian which are all of my favourites. We were a party of 5 people so it was sharing dishes all around. I have to say that this a great dining experience specially if you have an out of Towner who is looking for something a bit different to the standard tourist track.
