SNUGGLE UP WITH ME- TOP 5 JUMPER PICKS
OMG! It is freezing!!!
I don’t know what has happened to the weather. I guess I should be used to it by now living in England for 8 years but how did I go from a light jacket to wanting to wear all the layers in the world in a week! I know all of you agree that there was no warning here. It just went from normal to freezing cold. As the sudden but expected change of weather I have been on the hunt for some ultra cuddly knits which will feel like your are still in your pyjamas! Yes I said pyjamas because who doesn’t want to stay in this ensemble all day long! I have picked 5 of my favourites which I think will be great staples.
Every girl needs an animal print piece in her life. This is a great pattern to break up your outfit. This print is has been around for a few seasons and is not going anywhere! Zara has a really good quality option in this jacquard print. It is super cute and can be worn well with some skinny jeans or a leather skirt!
H&M never fail to impress me. I fell in-love with this polo neck jumper in the shop. It is so soft and cuddly and it is easy wear with everything! The style is longer at the back with a side split at both sides and comes in 3 colours. I opted for a slightly lighter colour in the autumn as we have so many dark coloured pieces in our wardrobe, I feel it breaks it up a bit when there is a lighter option. I must also mention I have very sensitive skin and this is a very non scratchy fibre.
From the H&M premium range. I found this piece which is really cool, it has a loose look and the fibre is with a cashmere blend (even better). It finishes an inch below the top waist edge which is perfect if you want to have a cropped feel to your jumper but don’t want to expose your tummy! This style adds a fresh twist with a slightly cropped look but a loose fit.
You can’t beat the Tie Front Detail! This was everywhere in summer and now they have brought it into the Autumn in jumper form. Having a loose fit style but keeping a feminine touch Zara have this easy option if you wanted to have a little extra in your basic jumper.
I think it is a must to have a long cardigan in our seasonal wardrobe. Topshop has given us a hooded version with a classic muted colour if we wanted to add a pop of colour or simply match it up with the colours on the cardigan. This style looks great with a baggy tee and trainers for taking the dog for a walk. Or dress it up with a pair with ankle boots and a body suit don’t forget about your favourite jeans whether it is skinny’s or mom jeans they could look great with both!
